One group went shopping while the other group went to the zoo.
The Zoo was pretty horrible so I won't post any photos of how the animals were kept. What I did find fascinating was the political signs that lined the road on the way to the zoo.
We also rented some boats on the lake. Most of us were told off for paddling too fast or swapping drivers in the middle of the water.
After the Zoo,We did a bit of shopping and then walked back to the Hotel while others visited the women's museum.
At 5pm, 31 of us were picked up by Rickshaws and given a tour of the city.
We were then dropped off at a water puppet show which was reasonably interesting.
The staff and some parents then thought it would be nice to try some actual Vietnamese food. So we tried......Frog.
Tomorrow we are off to Halong Bay. I doubt there will be internet there so it may be a couple of days before I post again.
